wii blue light problem

the wii blue light, does anyone know when that blue light around the disk slot is supposed to be on, when my wii is on the is no blue light, but when my wii is off, the blue ring turns on,wii blue light problem
The blue light isn't supposed to be always on. But, if the blue light is on when your wii is off then you have a new message so check your message board.wii blue light problem
check your message board maybe you got an upgrade.
My wii's in my room, so when that blue light turns on at 12:01 am I'm right there to update my wii.
