My opinion about Necronesia (aka Escape ...

I recently rented because I was really curious about the premise and some footage. I knew the review said it is lame and, actually, it seemed cheesy to me but I like bugs a lot so I give it a try.

Ok. So this is to share, essentially, with people who actually enjoyed the game and, secondlly, to people who likes to try new things with open mind.

I was going to write a review but, really, the game is bad, is an excellent series B movie translated to a game, and, as far as the experience goes for me, it worked.

The whole plot, th dialogs, and even some situations are just clich閟, but, somehow they integrate overall and make for a consistent experience.

The controls work for the most time but combat gameplay is crippled and, in certain situation you feel abused. I think is normal as you play as a teenager with no combat experience, but the bad animations make it feel frustrating.

Some of the points I saw criticized are that you can avoid a lot of enemies. I really like that part and I'm pretty sure I would do it in real life. In any case, the game reconogzies you when you achieve certain milestones (althopuh there is no much more than a grade rating at the end of the game to unlocck som extra weapons).

In any case, I really want to encourage you, who are not try it, to rent it at least and play it without predjuices. And, to the people who played it, to share their experience.

I don't encourage SW developers to continue by this road, but I'd give it a better score than the critics had done.

If I saw it for 20 or under and could get several other games that particular day I might get it to just see how bad it is.
