Can the Wii play DVD CD's?

Yo I need to know if u can play DVD Cd's in the WII CONSOLE can you?;)Can the Wii play DVD CD's?

You can however watch videos off of SD cards, if they're in the right format.
heeeey waait wait wiat, don't think its not possible, you just have to know how to install homebrew (modchips, u know, just as in ds) and then you can place all kinds of homebrew into the wii, including tons of dvd-players (since its very easyto make 1). I dunno why nintendo hasnt made one yet (???) if even homebrew developers claim it to be really easy, and they've proven it.

Uh, how you get content for it depends...

Nope. Nintendo make gaming consoles not dvd players!!!!!!! ;)The Japan release in early 2008 features dvd playback.
Meh, i just plug in the dvd player... no biggie.
