Is there any need to buy a memory card for wii? Is the wii's internal memory enough? thanks!Wii memory question....
Well... the wii has over a 1,000 block of memory but if you want to savesomevcchannels and vc games so if your wii has to be replaced I go to buying one just in caseWii memory question....
The internal memory is more than enough for game saves. At this point, problems only arise when you download a lot of Virtual Console games. It depends on which systems your VC games are for (N64 games are bigger than NES games, for example), but it's not really an issue for most people. In case you do run out of memory due to VC games, you can delete them off your Wii and redownload them for free whenever you want.
First off, there is no actual Wii ''memory card''. Rather, the Wii uses standard Secure Digital cards, exactly the same thing you'd find in the majority of modern consumer-level cameras (except those by Sony, Olympus, and Fuji) as well as many other devices, up to 2GB in size (anything above 2GB is most likely SDHC, which won't work with the Wii).Anyways, if all you plan on doing is saving your games, it's more than enough. Umm, if you download a lot of VC (or upcoming Wiiware) games, then you might want one. I mean, technically speaking, you could just delete and redownload the games later (there's no addition charge), but that can prove very time consuming.PS Game saves and VC games do not run off SD cards. You have to transfer them back to memory to use them.PPS If you want to play GCN games, then you will in fact need a GCN memory card. (as these cannot save to internal)
No need at all.
The internal memory is more than enough :)
