Parents and the Wii...

Have you ever tried to get an ''adult'' (Mother/Father/Grandma/Grandpa etc.) to play the Wii, and they hated it? I know of 4 ''adults'' who didn't want to play, or tried it and didn't like it. Is it really as ''family friendly'' as they make it out to be? Share.Parents and the Wii...
My mom is too timid with technology to play the Wii. We got her to play Donkey Konga once and she sucked bad.Parents and the Wii...
my dad plays it along with my and my bro ( expecially with nfl 08 )
I don't live with my parents anymore and one time I brought my Wii to their place and both my mom and dad loved it. In fact, my dad actually went out and bought his own Wii! Also, my grandma loves Wii Sports so much that she is getting one for Christmas. Lots of Wii love in my family!
my mom and dad only play wii sports oni t
I am the parent and all I do is play Wii. Currently playing Battallion Whores 2 and Zack %26 Wiki.
When i buy a Wii my parent will play on it when i'm in school. I hope they don't erase something;P
my mom was so amused that our family bought a total of 5-7 wii's dont remember how much. some we gave away and some were supposed to be more like ''helper buys'' where we buy it and they pay us back (since it was so hard to find a wii)

i introduced my mam to zelda and super mario world and now i cant get to play my wii anymore!!!!
My mom loves Wii sports.
I got my mom to try and she was just like, ''Eh....'' My dad won't even bother. He can't even work a computer anyways.

My mom thinks the Wii is awsome but she has only played Wii Sports a few times.
My family is big into the wii, every family get together I bring it and we have a wii sports tourny.Plus my dad plays nfl08 with my brother alot and strikers with me, and my mom plays RRR and the VC with us alot and she says she wants to try out zelda, and my little sister and grandpa play wii play alot.I think my family likes me alittle better now:)
It was one of the greatest things to everyone in my family when it came out, but they seem to just not wanna try any other new games. Maybe they'll like it again when MK comes out. But, none of this really matters to me, it mattered when I had my GCN becuase there was basically nothing to play online on it and I always needed a family or a friend to play multi player. But, now if I have no friends over and if my family doesn't enjoy my console I can simply put on my Nintendo WFC and have a blast online.
My father played wiisports when i gotthe wii, he really enjoyed it. so it is true when they said it's ''family friendly''. my father never touchedmy ps2...:?
Im trying to teach a 6 year old kid to play....real hard

ive gotten to the point that wii sports and wii pla can be palyed. although eh is having trouble with thepulling back str=aigight in pool, the tiliting in hockey and keeping the pointer steady while aiming. he should be ready for super mario galaxy though....due to assisted co-op!y

depends on if they are willing to try it, some people just wont try anything regardless, plus you cant force people to play anything even if it is designed for anyone to really pick up and play.
