No, that Velvet Revolver song isn't available yet because the Wii version doesn't have DLC. Like the rest of us, you'll just have to play the waiting game.
If you were looking at the song list, you probably mistaked it for Stricken by Disturbed.
i didnt notice it on the ps2 version... not sure about the wii though

DLC has not been ruled out for the wii version. They haven't denied it. They could very well do it as part of the wiiware service in march. Once downloaded you would just need to boot up the game and the game would look at your saved game data and see the download pack songs. The packs are 46-60 megs. Hardly an issue to store or redownload as needed.
Yeah, I would imagine that come the launch of the Wii Ware service, there will be some downloadable content for Guitar Hero 3. At least that's what I'm hoping.
