i think the wii is overrated

so i bought the Wii on launch day, with 4 games, all was good, the PS3 was expensive, so a year later, with only mario galaxy and smash brothers top games for the Wii, and a $400 bucks PS3 with great games, well i think many people like me fell on Reggies trap and bought a damn Wii, dont get me wrong, its fun with people and my girlfriend is all into it, but REAL games its wheres at, not mini games, so any other people out there in the same situation?, where you think that the hipe made you buy a Wii?i think the wii is overrated

great games for me, are heavenly sword, resistance, time crisis 4, and the future games, killzone 2, god of war 3, little big planet, MGS4 not my cup of te, but if i had a PS3, i wouldbuy it =P
Looks like you fell for the hype. I myself new what to expect and to be honest the Wii is shaping up pretty well as of late. Looks like your preference of games is on another console and can't be found on the Wii.

I personally love my wii. However you sound like a ps3 fan so go for ps3, if you want it more.
I don't think the Wii's a trap in any way, nor do I consider it to be a waste of money.Smash Brothers and Mario Galaxy the only top games? What about Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Super Paper Mario, and Metroid Prime 3? And what about all the great games already available for the virtual console? And how about Wii Sports with friends over?The pub that I'm a Chef at had Wii Sports played every Wednesday and Friday night in September, and it brought in a huge croud every night. Also, one guy I work with already has a X-Box 360, with Halo 3, Orange Box, Bioshock, Oblivion and a bunch of others, he's getting a Wii next week. And what incentive is there to buying a PS3 right now for someone who already has a 360? I'm not flaming or being argumentative, but really what games are available right now on the PS3 that aren't available on the 360 other than Resistance?And shouldn't this topic be in ''System Wars''?

I love my wii but i can see were its overrated. Im a huge nintendo fan but i like the ps3 better.
You want to see games. Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4, Zack %26 Wiki, Battalion Wars 2, Okami, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Tales of Symphonia, Mario Kart, Mushroom Men, Final Fanatsy Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers, Monster Hunter 3, Civilization Revolution, King Story, No More Heroes, Sporeall disagree with your logic. The PS3 hasreally nothing worthright now.
